Snowshoe Rentals
Suit up and hit the trails with family and friends! There are many beautiful destinations in Ontario and even within the Greater Toronto Area that are perfect for snowshoeing, and we have just the right snowshoes to complete your adventure. We have a variety of snowshoes for all weather conditions and for all ages. You don’t need to be an expert to enjoy snowshoeing, all that is really needed are snow pants, a winter jacket, snowshoes, and you are ready to experience winter in an entirely different way!
Start your Weekend Early:
- Pick up your snowshoes starting Friday and pay for just Saturday and Sunday (weekend rate)
- Drop off your snowshoes either on Sunday evening or by noon on Monday (without any late fees, excludes long weekends)

Ontario has many beautiful trails where the whole family can snowshoe. You don’t need to visit a ski resort to enjoy the winter outdoors. In fact, family snowshoeing is a great alternative to skiing, where standing in line while waiting to go up a hill at a local ski resort is common. Go out and explore the outdoors! Where to snowshoe in Ontario?
- Scenic Caves Nordic Centre - These trails boast 22 kilometres of groomed beginner and intermediate cross country ski and snowshoe trails winding through a 200 year old forest rich with wildlife.
- Wye Marsh EcoTours - The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre is located on 3,000 acres of wetlands, fen and forest in Midland, Ontario.
- Snowshoeing Adventures Humber Arboretum - This park is situated on the West Humber River in northwest Toronto. Enter a world of beauty as you wander along trails and boardwalks through gardens, forests, meadows and wetlands.
- Albion Hills Conservation Area - The Albion Hills Conservation Area, located less than an hour northwest of Toronto offers trails perfect for snowshoeing.
- Algonquin Park – Algonquin Park is an excellent park during the winter with lots of activities available for visitors. Snowshoeing enthusiasts can go almost anywhere within the park and explore.
- Snow Valley Barrie – It’s located only an hour north of Toronto and has a lot of trails accessible for both beginners and advanced snowshoe enthusiasts.
- Conservation Halton - Crawford Lake – This paradise includes 19 kilometres of outstanding hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails.
